Please join KGPR Public Radio the evening of April 7th from 6 until 9 PM for the annual Listener Appreciation Party at the Great Falls College – MSU. The event will be held in Heritage Hall (KGPRs “Studio 1”) with plenty of room for all. We will have a live broadcast with live music and other talent starting at 7 and lasting until 9 PM. There will be food and refreshments including wine and beer.

This year is very important for the station. Due to serious cutbacks in supplemental funding from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) over this past year, we are facing the need to make up a considerable portion of that shortfall through increased listener and corporate support.

Be sure to mark your calendars for this event. We will be looking forward to seeing you there.

Support Us

KGPR is a listener supported radio station. Most of our operating costs are funded by the generous support of listeners and underwriters. Your financial support ensures that we can continue to bring you Great Public Radio programming.

Directly

While a large portion of our operating funds are raised during our Spring Fundraiser, KGPR needs your continuing support throughout the year. We encourage and appreciate your support. If you like what you hear, you can send a financial contribution or office supply donation to this address anytime throughout the year. Any donation you can make will be greatly appreciated. Your donation is tax deductible!

Through KUFM

All donations to Montana Public Radio from the 594XX zip code area are put into a KGPR account at the University of Montana. The funds in this account are first used to pay for expenses related to obtaining KUFM programming. The remaining funds in the account are available for use by GFPRA for operations of KGPR.

Underwrite

Underwriting on KGPR is important to bringing public radio to North-central Montana. Through underwriting, your business or organization can contribute by providing continuing support for either specific programming or for general operating costs. Underwriters are acknowledged on air — a great way to get the word out about your products and services (some restrictions do apply), and underwriting can be tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
Many businesses cannot afford the high cost of commercial radio and print advertising. However, by underwriting on KGPR, you can afford ably reach your target customers with more immediacy and impact than any other form of media. Your business and your community benefit when:

  • Your message is aired in a non-commercial, non-competitive manner and format that sets you apart from traditional advertising.
  • Your underwriting shows your support for listener-supported, commercial-free public radio.
  • You express your interest in community service and cultural endeavors.

KGPR is grateful for the ongoing support of the many local businesses and organizations that underwrite public radio. We, in turn, encourage our listeners to support our underwriters and let them know their role in keeping public radio on the airways in North-central Montana is appreciated.

If you would like to be acknowledged as one of the fine businesses that help support KGPR programming, please contact us.
