Earth Day Walk at Missouri River Open Lands
Join Missouri River Open Lands Preservation for a tour of the Fox Farm Road state land parcel which is proposed for permanent protection with a recreation park easement. Walk leaders will explain the easement campaign and the connection to the Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail. The tour will take about 2 hours and cover about 1.5 miles of trail. If the weather is nice, participants may enjoy a brown bag lunch afterwards on the beach at the Missouri River. Carpool from Meadow Lark School parking lot off Fox Farm Road at 10:00 am. Bring a daypack with your lunch and a seat pad or pack chair if you want to eat with the group. This walk will take place on either April 20 or 21, depending on weather forecast.
