Homeschool Adult & Child Pottery (Ages 7+)
This 6-week class will give the opportunity for a parent and child/children to work together with the wheel throwing process. You will learn throwing fundamentals for creating functional pottery. Bowls and cylindrical forms will be explored as well as trimming and glaze techniques. This class is an energetic and fun way for your family to gain knowledge in this historical technique of throwing clay to make something useful.
Note: Your $100 includes registration for one (1) adult and one (1) child. If you need to add another child to your group, please use the additional child “add-on” for $50.
When: Thursdays, October 12th-November 16th
Time: 10:30am- 12pm
Cost: $50 per person (Supplies included)
Class size: Minimum 4 students, Maximum 10 students
Instructor: Dino Pfaff
Dino Pfaff has 30 years of K-12 art teaching experience in multiple mediums here in the great state of Montana. His love and skill for pottery is evident in his teaching style and works of art. He has been teaching pottery classes here at the Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art for 6 years.
