In celebration of No More Violence Week instructors Barb Walden and Pam Quinn invite you to explore through traditional practices of yoga how to recognize violence towards oneself. You will be guided in a practice towards compassion and kindness for yourself. It is designed for all levels of yoga, even beginners.
Pam Quinn, Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) Bio:
Pam has been a yoga instructor in great Falls Montana for over 20 years. She has been a certified yoga therapist through the IYT Joseph LePage program for the last 15 years. She works with people facing life with many challenges, including those with cancer, heart disease, M.S. chronic pain, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and brain surgery. She also prepares women for childbirth. pam carries a Montan massage Licenses and is a cranial sacral therapist and through these combined practices she applies her knowledge and and passion to help others empower themselves to be a part of their own healing. her passion for the application of traditional practices of yoga and advancement and creation of new innovative programs helps others to uncover their own place of peace and healing. Pam has a passion for the studio as a safe place for others to heal.
Barb Walden, Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) Bio:
Yoga! Of Course!
Barb is currently teaching yoga and shares a studio with Pam Quinn at The Square. She received her yoga teaching certificate in 2012 through Nancy Ruby’s Yoga Motion, although she has been practicing yoga for over 35 years. Barb beliefs that yoga helps keep her sane. She instructs yoga from the “8 Fold Path” (which includes postures, breathwork, and meditation) in a simple understandable way at each class. She shares her home space with a rambunctious beagle; Georgie (not pictured); and Shelbee, Toby, and Booda.
