Still Life Painting Workshop
This one-day workshop will include making and using viewfinders for designing composition and observing proportion. With an intro to color in aqua media, works will include dramatic lights and darks, creating excitement with color choices. If you have an object of interest to paint, you are welcome to bring it.
Class size: Minimum 3 students, Maximum 8 students
Instructor: Monica Bauer
Monica Bauer has a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Montana. She has taught at the Art Institute of Chicago, Pratt Institute, and the New School in New York. Her work has been featured in Punkt, Die Welt, and New American Painters. She has exhibited at the Carle Gallery in Butte, Gallery 16 in Great Falls, and the New York Public Library.
