Tax Help Montana filing help
On Saturdays, Feb. 3, Feb. 24, March 16 and April 6, Tax Help Montana will be in the Cordingley Room helping seniors and low to moderate-income families and individuals with their tax preperation and filing for free. Every Wednesday from Jan. 26 to April 15 from 2 to 6:30 pm, Tax Help Montana will pick up people’s tax returns from the library, as well, if needed.
Tax Help Montana (THM) is a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) program made up of a coalition of community partners led by RDI, offering free tax preparation and filing services to seniors and low-moderate income families and individuals. Tax Help Montana volunteer tax preparers are trained and IRS-certified to help ensure each client is receiving this and other tax credits for which they qualify.
