American Prairie Is Going Wild!

On Thursday, June 13, the Island Range Chapter of Wild Montana will host a program by Daniel Kinka, senior wildlife restoration manager for the American Prairie conservation reserve north of Lewistown. Dr. Kinka will give a slideshow and talk about American Prairie’s comprehensive plan to restore a functioning shortgrass ecosystem with all its native species in 5,000 square miles of Montana’s northern Great Plains. Please join us at the Celtic Cowboy’s Dark Horse Hall on June 13 at 7:00 pm to learn about this ambitious re-wilding campaign.
