FLOWING WATER CONCERT SERIES
If you are looking for something different to do, why not check out the upcoming Flowing Water Concert Series? Produced by James Rickley and hosted at New Hope Lutheran Church, this event is a great way to support the arts in Great Falls. The purpose of this concert series is to promote the development of new music. Each concert will showcase a different composer with local musicians presenting the music.
Kicking off the 2026 Spring series on Wednesday, February, 25th, will be a concert featuring music by Lindsey Nussbaum. He has an eclectic program of tunes featuring some Baroque music, jazz, Irish jigs, ragtime, and more. As you can see, there’s something there for everyone to enjoy.
Of course, new music by definition means that it has never been heard before, so at each concert after the music has been presented, there will be a discussion lead by a moderator. Following the discussion and if time permitting, the music will be presented again to allow the audience a chance to experience the music from a different perspective. This is a great way to take in something new.
Each concert is held over the noon hour, from 12:05 to 12:55. Tea, coffee, water, and desserts are provided. Attendees are encourage to bring a lunch to eat while listening to the music.
There will be five concerts in this series. All are held on Wednesdays and all are free to attend. Donations are certainly welcome and will go towards supporting more concerts in the future. New Hope Lutheran Church is located here in Great Falls at 3125 5th Avenue South.
