This program is meant to align with the museum’s exhibition of permanent collection works of art, as many of the works currently on exhibit feature works by Montana Modernists including Theodore Waddell, Gennie DeWeese, Bob DeWeese, Val Knight, Jim Poor, Freeman Butts, and more. This lecture will provide a distinct perspective about the Art History of Montana and will be presented by Dr. Michele Corriel, a specialist in the field of Montana Modernism.
