You will not want to miss this! Drum Brothers is returning in-person to Great Falls - for a community concert for all ages that is being offered FREE of charge!
Come celebrate the conclusion of NoMore Violence Week with a phenomenal concert that everyone can enjoy.
Drum Brothers present high energy performances that celebrate a diverse mix of world instruments and sounds: West African djembe and dunun drums, Middle Eastern frame drums, Australian didgeridoo, close harmony vocals, acoustic and electric guitar, bass, and original arrangements and compositions.
They’ve performed at numerous venues throughout the Northwest and Canada, have been a featured act at the Seattle World Percussion Festival, and have shared the stage with Ladysmith Black Mambazo.
They've also been featured on the award winning PBS series, 11th and Grant with Eric Funk.
Drum Brothers have been at the forefront of the American hand drumming movement since it began in the early 1990s.
Over the years, they have offered numerous school and community rhythm classes, drum circles, and more recently, interactive team building events for organizations and community groups.
The ensemble is comprised of brothers Matthew and Michael Marsolek, Tracy Topp, and brothers Nyon and Ravi Marsolek. This concert is funded in part by the Montana Arts Council, an agency of the State Government, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
